
Where we came from
History
1961 - Company founded by Jack and Rosi Carter and Brian Manley, operating from a converted farm in Plymstock.
1976 - Business had grown sufficiently to acquire and ex-bottling plant from Bass Brewery at Oreston Road, Plymouth which was to remain it’s home for the next 29 years
1987 - Jack and Rosi’s sons, John and Mark join the family business - John in the sales department and Mark piloting the introduction of computerised manufacturing into the factory.
1998 - John appointed Managing Director with father, Jack taking up the Chairmanship of the Company.
1999 - Phil Briant joins the Company as Sales Manager, after 13 years with Pearce Signs.
2001- Jack, Rosi and Brian retire after 40 years at the helm.
2004- Mark Carter and Phil Briant join the Board - Mark as Production Director and Phil as Sales Director.
2005- company acquires it’s current home - a 14,000sq ft unit on the Langage Business Park, Plymouth.
